Welcome to the Home of The Traditional Country Opry

The Traditional Country Opry was started to preserve true country music. It is a plan in which we the artist will take control of our own future. The bottom line is that after spending thousands of dollars on promotion to keep the spirit of honest real country music alive we have very little to show for what we have done. Now please do not get us wrong there are some promoters as well as radio people who try very hard to get us the exposure we need and to get our names out to the world. However we have reached a point where we as artists need to work together so the folks of the land can see and hear what we have to offer. That is where our plan will come into play.

Here is how it works:

We have assembled a core group of performing traditional country artists and started doing Traditional Country Opry shows in some of Nashvilles most established theaters as well as touring in support of our kind of country music. We are going to be showcasing for the most part independent traditional country artists so that folks can see that true country music is still alive and well. The sad part of this is most people will not pay to see an artist they have never really heard of or had a chance to see unless they listen to classic country radio. Therefore our plan is to not charge, or at least a very minimal charge, to the general public to attend The Traditional Opry shows that we put on. We will need to be self-funded in this venture in order to fill the seats. To accomplish that we need the help of the artists working together with sponsors to make it work.

The shows will be funded by four different levels that you can join. Click on the signup link if you'd like more info regarding the various memberships. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
